  2. Passionate Educator As a passionate and well-respected educator, Spencer Byrd hopes to pass this way of thinking on to the next generation of educators, to help them create meaningful connections with students and faculty that foster growth.

  3. As a Superintendent Spencer Byrd is a passionate educator who is currently the Superintendent of Community Unit School District #2 in rural Illinois. As superintendent, Spencer Byrd works to launch programs and initiatives that fuel student growth.

  4. All-State Athlete Spencer Byrd was an All-State athlete in high school and served as both a coach and athletic director before becoming a superintendent. From varsity football defensive coordinator to head coach of freshman basketball, Spencer Byrd has used his experience to inspire and train high school athletes.

  5. Educational Background Superintendent Spencer Byrd is highly educated and holds a bachelor's degree and two master's degrees, in addition to currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
