  1. 5 Ways To Get Rid Of Painful Heels Naturally There can be many reasons for your heel injury - calcium deficiency, wrong shoes or heels, too much walking or standing, wrong posture, etc. But how to take natural remedies before taking painkillers to cure your pain. If you are wondering what you can do, here are some things you can try: • This is the first thing on your heel after an exhausting day. Sit in a comfortable position, preferably a chair and lift your right leg and place your feet on the left knee. Then, use both thumbs to apply mild pressure on the soles, heel, and calf muscles of both feet, moving slowly and evenly. Massage your heels: Massage in one direction for about one minute and then repeat on your left feet. Continue this for a few minutes and then relax for a while before working your feet. •Roll a frozen ball: Freeze a small plastic bottle and then wrap it in a cotton cloth. Sit on a chair and place the bottle under the arch of your foot. Push the bottle back and forth with some pressure. Do this for about five minutes and repeat with your other leg. •Hot & Cold Water Treatment: Alternatively treating your sore heel for hot and cold water helps to increase blood flow due to heat, and the cooling effect reduces inflammation. Soak your feet in a tub of warm water and leave it there for a few seconds, next remove your feet and submerge it in a tub of cold water. Keep it optional for five minutes to ease the pain. •Do some simple stretches: Stand barefoot in front of the wall at arm's length. Place your hands on the wall and push. Bend forward, bending your right leg to your knees, feel the stretch behind your left leg and heel. Hold for 30 seconds; Repeat with your other leg. If none of the above methods provide relief, it is better that you stay in your bed for some time, without straining your feet. If you experience pain for three weeks or longer, then you have to visit a heel pain specialist.
