Dispatch Bands Dispatch Bands In addition to the hourly dispatch limits specified in Subsection 4.2.2.4.1, the Midwest ISO provides Dispatch Band Limit modeling in order to allow Market Participants to model their physical operating characteristics of Generation resources and DRR - Type II.
Offer Lock Down – DA to RTB • Connection between DA and RTB offers • Separate or connected • More details on following slides
Offer Rollover • There is a difference in how offers work. In MISO and New York the DA and RT offers are completely separated. Only connected via Make Whole Payments. • In PJM and New England, there is a connection between DA and RT. PJM locks in units that are committed by DA. Re-bid allowed if uncommitted but all offers locked in at end of re-bid. • New England locks in all accepted offers and uses the DA as the RT (some exceptions are allowed)
Offer Rollover • Manual intervention allows for the possibility of subjective treatment • Allowing them to be updated (DA and RTB) will facilitate a rebid period
