  2. The lacto- vegetarian diet is a type of vegetarian diet • The diet includes dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, cream, and kefir. However eggs are not included. • Lacto vegetarian is sometimes referred to as lactarian • Many Hindu vegetarians are lacto vegetarians that avoid eggs for religious reasons. • People become vegetarian is because of moral and ethical reasons and health benefits

  3. Negative or Challenges associated with this diet • You don’t get all the protein that your body needs • Lack at vitamin B12 • Interfere with production of red blood cells • One challenge will be if your willing to say no to a cheeseburger or steak

Positive aspects of a lacto-vegetarian diet • Vegetarian eating can certainly improve your health and well being as well as reduce your risks for certain nutrition related illnesses and certain types of cancer. • You get a lot of calcium • Eating this way lowers your risk for heart disease, obesity, high blood pressure and even colon cancer • following of the vegetarian movement over the years has lead to the creation of many different societies. The majority of these societies aim to provide forums for people to increase their knowledge and make informed choice in terms of commencing or maintaining vegetarian eating patterns.

  7. Summary of lacto-vegetarian diet • A lacto-vegetarian diet is a type of vegetarian diet. Many people are lacto-vegetarians because of there religious reasons or health benefits. It can improve your health but it can also not give you as many vitamins as you need. It can also lower health risks.
