Capital Improvements http://www.blackridge-bca.org/ • Improvements Made this Year • Corrected major sewage problem ~$10,000 • Repaired 1 of the 2 main HVAC units ~$500 • Decommissioned HVAC unit - ~$5,000 replacement risk • Roof Replacement Fundraising – Need HELP! • Received quotes between $25 – 30K • Ideas / Fundraisers • Purse Auction (Bill Miller Chair), Raised $1,200 • Flip a Lid, Raise the Roof, (Jen & Abe Sunday Chair) • Raise Roof Dinners, (Need Chair) • Night @ Races, (Need Chair) • Texas Hold ‘Em, (Need Chair) Please consider getting involved in the capital campaign to help save the BCA building.

BCA Events http://www.blackridge-bca.org/ • Jewelry & Purse Sample Sale – December 4th • Beef ‘n’ Beer – March 12th • Brew Club – Ongoing check online calendar • Strawberry Festival – May 15th • Flip a Lid, Raise the Roof– coming May 20th • Garage Sale – coming June 25th • July 4th Bike Parade – coming July 4th • Fall Fest & Concert in Park – coming October 8th While there are many events to bring our community together, we opted not to hold more resource-intensive events in order to ensure effective stewardship of community donations.

Membership http://www.blackridge-bca.org/ • Current Membership – 163 members • 172 BCA members out of 625 eligible homes • At 2010 meeting our count was 172 members • At 2009 meeting our count was 110 members • Represents 26% participation • Memberships are key to our financial stability • Apply today here • Apply online at www.blackridge-bca.org Membership is increasing, but we still have a ways to go. Please consider joining today!

Special Thanks – Bill Miller 15 years http://www.blackridge-bca.org/ • Held Positions of President, Treasurer, Rental Director, and At-Large Member from Wilkinsburg and Penn Hills • Implemented B52 Raffle, Jewelry/Purse Sale, Beef & Beer Newcomer’s Party, Concert in the Park, Light-Up Night • Balanced budget for driveway resurfacing, plumbing improvements, painting, and roof repairs • Created membership renewal program resulting in 300+ BCA memberships in 2010 • Streamlined rentals Thank You!
