NIELSEN CARES- WE DO CARE Each year Nielsen Baltics actively takes part in the Global Nielsen initiative Nielsen Carestrying to apply company research knowledge and experience for building the better society for all of us. Nielsen supported Association Of People With A Down Syndrome in Lithuania for the 4th time alreday at evaluation of: Somefacts • Down syndrome is one of the most common human genetic disorders. • The estimated incidence of Down Syndrome is between 1 in 1,000 to 1 in 1,100 live births worldwide. • Down syndrome occurs in people of all races and economic levels. • In developed counytries peoplewith Down syndrome attend school, work, participate in decisions that affect them, have meaningful relationships, vote and contribute to society in many wonderful ways. • Comparison of the public opinion about the people with a Down Syndrome in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia(in April’201) • Theattitude towards educaiton of children with Dawn syndrome and eployemnt of people with Down syndrome

ABOUT THE STUDY Down Syndrome Awareness & Attitude study was conducted in April‘2019 Sample size: Lithuania n=1607, Latvia n=1608, Estonia n=1610 Sample composition: 16 – 65 year old country residents, representative quotas to each country’s population on Age, Gender, Community size Interview Length: up to 7minutes. Data acquisition method –Online (Nielsen Omnibus) Study questionnaire was created by Nielsen with cooperation and advise of the Association of People with Down Syndrome in Lithuania
