  3. Have you ever been bullied?

  4. What is Bullying? We use the word bullying in order to describe the cruel action of someone bigger or older towards another person. Bullying is when someone makes fun of somebody or spreads a nasty rumour about him. Also, bullying is when they steal money from somebody by threatening him in order to buy a snack from the school’s canteen. Bullying occurs at schools, as well as in other public places. Many children believe that bullying somebody gives them an advantage because they are older than other children. Bullying exists mostly at the age between 10 to 18. By Irene Zannou

  5. Which do you think would be the most effective measure against bullying?

  6. Bullies Unfortunately, nowadays young children as well as adults treat people really violently. The way that they behave is really frustrating 30% of the people we asked make fun of others by calling them insulting nicknames. 4% of teenagers, also, threaten younger children or smaller children, for money. Additionally, they attack them with knives and sometimes they kill them, although this is a really marginal case. Also, there is 5% of students, who get stolen. In addition, false rumours are often spread about other and this is too hard and disappointing. Finally ,these days many people of various ages discriminate each other over the colour of their body, their religion, their manners and customs. By Eleni Ioannidou

  7. These days many teenagers have been bullied. 58% of them are afraid to tell anyone about it. 25%, who are braver decide to tell their friends and family, what they experienced. 70% of the victims have been attacked by teenagers of the same age or even older than them. Moreover, the majority of the victims have turned for help to their friends, where they can find love and understanding. Stella Lymperopoulou

  8. Solutions / Measures There are some measures and solutions that children can take in order to protect themselves from being bullied. First, the best measure against bullying is Information/Preventive Measures. Another effective solution is getting counseling and many children prefer to do this. The last measure against bullying is stricter punishment, but it is not as good as the other solutions. Kostas Merkuris Nikos Metaxas
