La Forma Larga—Posesivos • There is a second way to talk about possession • The meaning is the same as the form we already learned • It does not matter whether you use the short (from last year) or the long form (this chapter) ...and yes, both are necessary to learn!
La Forma Larga *Notice that the long form comes after the noun • My book • Short form: mi libro • Long form: el libro mío • Remember that both the short form and the long form have the same meaning. • It is 2 ways of saying the same thing.
La Forma Larga • Mi libro = el libro mío • Tu libro = el libro tuyo • Su libro = el libro suyo • Nuestro libro = el libro nuestro • Vuestro libro = el libro vuestro • Su libro = el libro suyo Remember: The short form and the long form have the same meaning
