  1. My Life as a Writer Bradley Richardson

  2. Before This Class • Heavily disliked writing • The only types of writing I had done were according to a set, non-flexible structure • I never really considered the purpose of structure or how changing this could complement a piece of writing • Didn’t have much of a writing process that I used

  3. Before this class • 7th grade writing teacher • I had been adjusted by middle and high school to focus on mechanics rather that more important things in writing • I had never truly written from a personal perspective

  4. Literacy Memoir • Opened my mind to non-methodistic ways of writing • Made me reflect on my past experiences with writing • Allowed me to consider the true purpose of writing • Made me think about revising my associations with writing

  5. DCP Report • A type of writing I was more familiar with from high school • Allowed me to realize the difference in writing mentalities my high school self and myself while I was writing this • Gave me better reason to think about my structure rather than blindly following what I’m told to do

  6. Writer’s Reflection • Made me fully see the difference between my writing at the beginning of this class and at the end • Gave a good point of comparison

  7. After this class • My adaptivity is much higher • I have a better idea of how to use writing processes to my advantage • I have more motivation to write as it comes easier to me now • I will consider the purposes of things in general more

  8. Application • I will have a better idea of what mentality to be in when I’m writing in a job • Since I’m more adaptive, I’ll be able to write optimally in a variety of situations.
