A Baptist Association is a community of churches networking through strategic missional efforts to fulfill the Great Commission locally, nationally, and internationally.
Our Mission Statement: We the We the peoples of these Nine Mile Baptist Churches choose to cooperate in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40).Therefore we agree: to provide training and resources to participate in local and global missionsBy giving of our time, talents, and finances thus enabling the churches to do together what we could not do alone for the glory of God.
There are layers to the SBC Missions program. The International Mission Board (IMB) is the Global Layer. The North American Mission Board (NAMB) is the National Layer. The state convention (IBSA) is the Regional Layer. The local association is closest to the churches geographically as the first layer.
