Learning Outcomes: To learn to identify,describe and understand the unique characteristics of the following animal groups: ungulates, larges carnivores and small animals.
Process: Your demonstration of learning must be in a digital media format which could include the following: powerpoint, prezi, webpage, imovie, or whatever format you wish as long as you cover the required animals and your chosen ones. You must present your info either to the whole class or a small group.
Process: Your Selected Animals! For each group of animals you must highlight two animals one bovid one cervid You must find additional info explaining what makes this particular animal your favorite amongst the group. You are going to demonstrate why this animal is so interesting.
Required animals-Ungulates Info Requirements: 1. What is the difference between a bovid and cervid? 2. Bovids: Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goat. 3. Cervids: Mule Deer,Black Tail, White Tail,Moose, Cariboo and ElK
Choose One Cervid and One Bovid and create slides with all the following information below 1-5 For all the rest of the animals you must have slides of: #1 Pics:M/F #3-Identifying Characteristics 1. Picture of Male(with antlers) and Female(correct/name) 2. Location/Distribution/Habitat in B.C. 3. Body Size and Identifying Characteristics 4. Food/Enemies 5. What do you find interesting…. You must have pictures of all

Personal selection highlights unusual and interesting aspects of this species. 3- Includes most of the required info in good detail. Presentation is digital. Personal Selection is complete and highlights interesting aspects..
