Benjamín Bloom was born on february 21,1913, in Lansford, Pennsylvania. He recived a bachelor and master’s degrees from Pennsylvania State University in 1935 and a PhD in education from the university of chicago in 1940. He was a Jewish-American educational psychologist who made contributions to the classification of educational objectives and to the theory of mastery-learning.
