  3. How desperate are you to see a move of God?

  4. There’s an order to experiencing God: • Redemption • Righteousness • Worship

  5. It’s impossible to come before the God of the universe in worship and leave unchanged.

  6. Worship is not about us; it’s about God.

  7. How can we know if we’ve truly engaged God and pleased God with our worship?

  8. Review of Romans 1-11: • 1-2: The reality of sin and fallen condition of man. • 3-5: Redemption available through Christ’ atoning death. • 6-8: Salvation has a purpose (transform us to Christ). • 9-11: Sovereignty of God. • 10: God’s plan for sinners to come to repentance and faith. • 11: God’s mysterious ways.

  9. We must surrender ourselves completely to Him.

  10. As we come and gather in this place, we are laying ourselves on the altar and saying, “Lord, here I am to worship.”

  11. Three reasons it’s reasonable: 1. Because of who God is.

  13. Three reasons it’s reasonable: 1. Because of who God is. 2. Because of what God has done. 3. Because of what God desires.

  14. We must commit to being transformed not conformed.

  15. What does it mean to be conformed to this world? “conform” = to squeeze

  16. The world is constantly trying to turn our hearts away from gospel-centered worship and toward lifeless religion.

  17. God wants to change us not from the outside in, but from the inside out.

  18. Conformation comes from the outside – this is religion Transformation comes from the inside – this is the gospel
