  2. UTOY SKOLE • The Norwegian flag • This is our coat of arms. It has four flounders because there are a lot of flounders in the fjord

  4. Our school - banner • Our motto is: ”Open minded; rooted in local environments – while viewing wide world.”

  5. Facts about Inderoy and Utoy school • It is 5823 people in Inderoy • Inderoy is a rural district in the middle of Norway • It is seven different schools in Inderoy • Utoy school is one of six schools in Inderoy • We are 77 pupils in our school • We are 14 employees (9 teachers)

  6. Homes • These are ordinary houses in the rural part of Norway • Most children at school live in houses like this • Some children also live at farms

  7. These two farms are close to the school • Children from our school live here

  8. Outside the school.

  9. We enjoy playing outside. We have a new sandpit in our schoolyard. Everybody plays together.

  10. Sometimes the whole school is together in our small sports hall.

  11. Fysical training and gymnastics • We have fysical activity every day • In wintertime we often go skiing if it is snow.

  14. ”Out-door-school” • This is a picture of the place we often use when we have ”out-door-school”. • The shelter ( the”gapahuk”) is near the school`s jogging track. • Here we can climb in trees, play hide-and-seek and we can study the nature. We can also read and write - and eat our food here by the bonfire.

  17. LIBRARY • We have a library in our school • We can read, borrow books, use the computers and play games

  19. Lunchtime • The children bring their own lunchboxes to school. • We sit by our desks when we eat. • We can buy milk and fruit at school. • Our teacher reads for us while we are having lunch.

  20. We are looking forward to make new friends from England, Ireland and France Kristin and Mette Kjell, Sigrun and Eirik Sifrid and Gunnar Katrin and Bjørg (headmaster)
