XP-710 Status • Shape development complete • Achieved non-inductive fraction nearly equivalent to that in 116318 (NSTX record pulse length) but with 2 sources instead of 3. • Lithium raised confinement time enabling results (42ms compared to 30ms at same time in 116318) • H-mode achieved during current ramp at 5.5kGauss (more work to do here)

  3. Equilibrium nearly achieved • Equilibrium parameters: • Target Achieved •  2.7 2.6 • A 1.75 1.55 • li 0.4 0.5 • N >5.5 ~3.5 • Lower beam power lowers li, increasing inner gap, decreasing  • More beam power should improve all parameters

  4. Plasma nearly matches 116318(with 2 sources instead of 3) Red 116318, Black 123547

  5. High non-inductive fraction achieved Shot 123547, TRANSP A01 • Achieved 55% non-inductive current fraction (TRANSP) • Ramped linearly up to the end of the shot • Depending on scaling of confinement with power, could achieve 67 - 73% non-inductive fraction with additional NBI power
