cdma2000 Smart Cards • Removable User Identity Module • The “cdma2000 SIM” • One “Application” per card • Universal Integrated Circuit Card • A multi-application security platform • CSIM, USIM and more on one card R-UIM UICC 3GPP2 CSIM 3GPP USIM • CSIM • The cdma2000 equivalent of USIM 3GPP2 ISIM 3GPPISIM • ISIM • IP Multimedia Services Identity Module cdma2000 Technology Workshop 广州
Removable User Identity Module R-UIM • Removable User Identity Module (R-UIM) • Equivalent to the 3GPP SIM card for cdma2000 devices • Like the SIM, the R-UIM is a physical card • Subscription and operational data are stored on the card including • NAM parameters • Roaming list • Security parameters • Other items such as a user phonebook may also be stored • A multimode R-UIM may include GSM parameters • Allows a single physical card in a multimode device • Don’t need to have multiple slots for multiple cards • Multimode System Selection (MMSS) parameters are not supported on the R-UIM cdma2000 Technology Workshop 广州
Universal Integrated Circuit Card and Card Applications CSIM • Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC) • The 3GPP2 UICC is an extension of the 3GPP UICC • The UICC is a multi-application security platform enabling • CSIM, USIM, ISIM can all exist on a single UICC • Multimode System Selection Parameters are supported • cdma2000 Application on UICC (CSIM) • The cdma2000 equivalent of the 3GPP USIM • Provides a superset of the R-UIM features on the UICC • IP Multimedia Services Identity Module (ISIM) • An extension of the 3GPP ISIM to cdma2000 systems ISIM UICC cdma2000 Technology Workshop 广州
Supporting Specifications • CDMA Card Application Toolkit (CCAT) • Extends 3GPP CAT to cdma2000 cards and MEs • CCAT defines a protocol enabling applications residing on a card to interact with entities beyond the ME • Supports Bearer Independent Protocol (BIP) • Test Documents • Conformance requirements are defined for both ME and cards • ME with R-UIM conformance • ME with CSIM conformance • R-UIM conformance • CSIM conformance - in development • ME conformance with CCAT is under development cdma2000 Technology Workshop 广州
