General Business • September meeting minutes • Welcome, Relay for Life update, updates from Mrs. McDaniel • PTSA – treasurer’s report; teacher mini-grants; updates on direct donations, membership, spirit week and night, homecoming pregame family dinner, and reflections theme; program for drug, alcohol, energy drink, and tobacco awareness night • Treasurer’s report

Previous PTSA Activities • Spirit Night • Thanks to all faculty and parents that participated by volunteering • Homecoming Pre-Game Family Dinner • Thanks to those that attended and Lee Roy Selmon’s for providing the food • War Cup and Tailgate Event • Thanks to those that volunteered, sponsors, and especially the marketing students and those that helped Osceola raise $1440 for the American Cancer Society to Seminoles $350

  5. Current / Upcoming PTSA Activities • Direct Donations • Membership update • Reflections 40 year anniversary – Beauty Is... • Entries due December 4th • Holiday faculty breakfast • Date TBD in December • Start planning our silent auction • FAN – Fundamental schools Advocacy Network • Goal - To drive the Pinellas County School District to open additional Fundamental High Schools for the 2010/2011 school year • To become a member just need contact info, sign up sheets available tonight • www.fundamentalschools.org for information

Upcoming PTSA Meetings • Tonight – College, Career, Scholarship, and Financial Aid night • Only need to stay for an hour, but welcome to stay longer • Scholarship and Financial Aid information available through PTSA • Mrs. McDaniel speaking from 7-8 pm • November 19th • Teen Health and Safety Night – internet and driving safety and Governor’s Recommendations for Healthy Floridians • January 28th • What have our students been up to so far this year and what’s coming up the rest of the school year

Volunteer Opportunities • Auction Committee • Start planning • Donations of items to bid on • Selling Spirit Wear • Before and after PTSA meetings • During lunches on designated days • A Chair for Warrior Walkway and Parking Lot • Check Events/Activities form and website • Remember you must be a registered volunteer
