Expert Notes For your word, you need: • Definition in your own words • An example of your word (make it up!) • Further explanations or examples to clarify. (you should make a chart)
Give each member a letter • Each member of your group needs a different letter A – F • Write down your group number and personal letter in your notes. • For example, 3C. There will only be one of each in your group.
Move and Teach • Each person will now move into their 6 person “Letter Group”. • You will teach your Poetic word, and the rest of your group will take notes on it. • You need to be sure the rest of your group understands the word well. These are the only notes they will be taking on this word. • By the end of this activity, you will have taken notes on all 6 poetic words.
Move back and compare • Move back to your number groups and compare notes. • Is there any word you still don’t understand? Do you need another example? Take this time to clarify your notes.
