Community-Based Instruction (CBI) is a research-based practice facilitating the transition to adult life for students with disabilities. CBI offers real-life learning experiences to enhance independence in various skills. This program is sustained, repeated, and NOT a mere field trip. It caters to students needing support in transferring knowledge to different environments, utilizing hands-on instruction and direct experiences. The CBI curriculum covers essential areas such as employability, daily living, communication, safety, and more. Join us in preparing students for a successful transition into adulthood through practical and experiential learning within their community.
