  1. Join the Great British Duck Race and support Barnabus! The race will be taking place in London on Sunday 2nd September. The aim is to send 165,000 rubber ducks down a stretch of the River Thames near Hampton Court Palace and in doing so set a new World Record and raise over £500,000 for UK charities. You can support Barnabus by adopting a duck, it’s that simple! It is just £2 to adopt a duck with a £3 recommended donation to the charity of your choice, less than a cinema ticket! The prize for the duck who wins the Race is £10,000 and of course, being that ducks are generous creatures, this money will then be passed on to the charity that the duck represents.
