Camp Ground Bus Procedures: Student Behavior Guidelines

Ensure safe and orderly behavior of Camp Ground Elementary students on school buses. Guidelines include loading/unloading one student at a time and following bus rules. Students must sit responsibly, refrain from eating or drinking, and keep hands to themselves. They should use appropriate language and maintain a level 1 or 2 voice.   1. Camp Ground Bus Procedures

Mission • Camp Ground students will demonstrate safe, orderly, and appropriate behavior during unloading, loading, and riding on the school bus. • Camp Ground students will load and unload the buses one student at a time in order to insure that students behave in a safe and responsible manner.

  3. Student Expectations • Students will be expected to take responsibility and follow the expectations outlined by Camp Ground Elementary and Laurel County School District bus procedures and rules.

  4. Student Expectations • I will sit in my seat the entire time while on the school bus.

  5. Student Expectations • I will refrain from eating, drinking, or chewing gum on the school bus.

  6. Student Expectations • I will raise my hand if I need to speak to the bus driver or monitor.

  7. Student Expectations • I will keep my hands, feet, and objects to myself and inside the bus at all times.

  8. Student Expectations • I will follow all rules whether my regular bus driver or a different bus driver is present.

  9. Student Expectations • I will follow all rules whether I am on my regular bus or a different bus.

  10. Student Expectations • I will use a Level 1 or 2 voice while riding the school bus.

  11. Student Expectations • I will only talk about appropriate subjects.

  12. Student Expectations • I will use appropriate language in speaking to other students and adults.
