Challenges of using the EFQM Excellence Model • The EFQM Model had to be adapted to suit school • needs without changing its basic structure • The EFQM questionnaire had to be translated into • Greek and the language adapted for use • by schools, e.g. customer, management • The questionnaire had to be adapted to reflect the • particular needs and structure of the College
Advantages of using the EFQMExcellence Model • The faculty is involved in reflecting on and resolving problems that concern them • The decision and responsibility taken on by the faculties of each school to implement change brings a new dynamic process to the school • The EFQM Excellence Model is the means for initiating a school-wide self-assessment process in our school
Success will truly be realized when this process becomes internalized as “a natural way of doing things”
