  1. Zipping CSIT 230 (Blum)

  2. Start/All Programs/WinZip/WinZip 8.1 CSIT 230 (Blum)

  3. If using for the first time, click Next on WinZip Setup, then Yes on License CSIT 230 (Blum)

  4. Click Next, then choose Wizard or Classic, then Next again. CSIT 230 (Blum)

  5. Choose search or Quick Search, then Next and Next again. CSIT 230 (Blum)

  6. Next and Next again. CSIT 230 (Blum)

  7. Create a new Zip file, Next, then use Browse button to choose name and location of target file (the result of the zipping). CSIT 230 (Blum)

  8. Use New Archive dialog box to choose name and location, click OK, the Next CSIT 230 (Blum)

  9. Click Add folders, use Add Folders dialog box to find folder to be zipped, then OK. CSIT 230 (Blum)

  10. Click Zip Now. Click Close if you are done or Next if you have more zipping to do. CSIT 230 (Blum)

  11. Next time • The next time you use WinZip on the computer on which you went through the set up procedure, it will start at the Welcome screen (See slide 6). CSIT 230 (Blum)
