  2. What is Boom Elevated Work Platform? As its name suggest Boom Elevated Work Platformis a mechanical device which is mainly used to provide temporary access for workers and helpful to work in inaccessible area or for construction work usually at certain heights. It is designed in such a way to carry a limited weight so that its boom part can perform safely without any risk. and these machine usually designed to carry less than a ton.

  3. Why EWP Boom Lift Licence is Necessary? If you want to become an operator of boom type EWM than it is mandatory in Australia to obtain a national High Risk Work Licence. The only motive of this Licence is to protect the health and safety of worker who are at work. Proper training to obtain EWP licence may reduce the accident that mainly happen on the job site.

  4. Condition to Obtain Licence Age of the candidate must be 18 years or older. Candidates are capable enough to work on heights. Must have completed the certified training course. Should understand English.

  5. Learning Outcomes of training Certificate Be able to operate Boom Elevated Work Platform safely by using advanced driving techniques. One can Understand lifting capabilities of machine. Be aware of the surrounding while operating Boom EWP in different working environment.

  6. Fees and Duration Course fee is approximately $720.00 per person. Additional charges may apply if any extra SafeWork NSW assessments are required. Total duration is 3 days which include full day training for 2 days and assessment is conducted on the third day.
