But notice, it requires IE7+, if you are using Windows XP, please make sure that your IE (What’s IE? Google it!) is up to date. Tutorial for Version 1.3
Set your account and password. If your password is shorter than 8 characters, add “0” before it to 8 characters. Configure Your Account
After saving the account information, you will be led to a page like this. Search Internships
After clicking “Search Internships”, you will see a form just like what you will see when you search internshipson myaiesec.net. Fill it and click “Search”. You can use “Ctrl” to select more than one items in the multiple list. Fill the Information Needed
Set the number of forms you want and click “Collect”. Ready to Collect
Then, Analyzer will start collecting forms, you can interrupt it by clicking “Stop”. After collecting, it will back to the interface you have seen before. And the number of forms collected will be shown. Finish Collecting
After collecting, the “Export” button on the left will be enabled. Click it and choose the information you want and click “OK”. Export to a CSV File
Then a CSV file will be created, and you will be able to open it with Excel. A CSV file is not friendly enough for editing, After editing, you will be informed to save the file as xlsx or xls. Export to a CSV File
You may find there are some other buttons, what are them used for? Advanced
Some times, the forms we need may not be able to collect with only one collecting operation. • And you may need an “append mode”. Click “Overwrite Mode”, and it would switch to “Append Mode”. Overwrite/Append Mode
When you are to export the forms, you may want export all the information. And “Select All” will help you out. Select All/None
There should be more tools, but by now, there are only two. • “Format Emails” & “Join Emails”. Tools
There are some information that includes emails, and what you need may just be the emails. And then you can use this tool. • After run “Format Emails”, the information like “TN Manager, Email: vilic.vane@aiesec.net” will be like “vilic.vane@aiesec.net”. • You see, the other text is removed. Unlike “Format Emails” will change the content, “Join Emails” will just find the emails in the forms and join them up with “;” and then copy them, so that you will be able to send them emails by simply paste the addresses. • The joined emails will be like “abc@abc.com;def@def.com;ghi@ghi.com” Tools – Join Emails
Sometimes, you may want to save the forms as text so you can use the file saved to export new CSV files the next time. • Click “Save” on the left, and the next time when you need the forms, click “Browse” to import. Save as Text
While loading, the status on left-bottom switching between “Loading” and “Logging in” all the time.Make sure that your account information is correct and your account has the permission to search forms. • Frequently alert something and ask if want to retry or continue.I’ve nothing to do with slow or unstable connection. You can try to use proxy to improve the speed of connection. FAQ
