2. Case Study I created and managed Honda Motor Europe’s annual Quality Circles convention for over ten years. Each year the convention moved to a different EMEA destination and I assisted this global company to hold successful events in Paris, Rome, Brussels, Lisbon, Pescara, Barcelona, Istanbul, London and Budapest. The convention normally runs for four days and plays host to around 400 qualifying team members with a welcome party, cultural sightseeing day, presentation day and a gala farewell party. I created every element of these conventions with my local professional teams and the photo montage that follows provides a flavour of some of these events. We’ve built presentation sets in warehouses and factories as well as some great hotels and convention centres. We’ve organised motorcycle trials demonstrations as well as flamenco shows, treasure hunts and nights under the stars.

5. Case Study For 2006 I created and managed a very special “World Convention” in London for Honda With over 1,200 guests from nearly 30 nations and a programme that had to be arranged around the availability of the company’s global President this was always going to be a challenge, but I managed to create and organise an event that even Honda’s seasoned convention goers were amazed by. From the welcome party and group photo on arrivals day through presentation day, a visit to Honda’s factory in Swindon, a gala night with Murray Walker, Jenson Button, Nicky Hayden, James Toseland, John Surtees and other motorsport heroes and a final day showcasing London’s Heritage with lunch on the London Eye everyone present told me that this was the best World Convention ever.

8. Case Study For one of my local companies, Thames Water, I created, organised and managed the production of several one day conferences. These were held at hotels or conference centres close to their Reading, Berkshire base. The images that follow on the next page show some of these events
