What they do. The Donkey Sanctuary in Liscaroll, Co. Cork is owned and run by Paddy Barrett and his family. They take in donkeys that have no home. Some of these donkeys have been very badly treated and some of them had elderly owners that died. The ISPCA bring these poor donkeys to the Donkey Sanctuary to get looked after.
This is an albino. These are donkeys that do not have any colour pigment and that makes them snowy white. They look a bit like a unicorn!
This donkey is an albino as well. I think that it might be a mule. It was not very friendly and tried to bite me!
The donkeys can be adopted by caring families when they are better.
This is my sister, Cara and I. We would love to adopt two donkeys. This donkey is called Lorcan.
