Task • You are to research and produce a display on one of the casualties of the First World War.
Who to Research? • You can pick one of these 8 men. • You can pick someone else but your teacher needs to agree.
Prepare a presentation … • Find the information from www.cwgc.org • Then follow the information to find out about: • Name: • What regiment was he in? • What battles was he in? • Where did he die? • Where is he buried? • Date of death? • How old was he when he died? • What rank was he?
You can focus your research on anything connected to your soldier: • How the person came to be in the war • His regiment • The battle that he died in
The Presentation • You are to produce a maximum of 2 pages (A4) on your person. • You should try to include pictures and writing (No copy and paste!). • The presentations should be respectful and tasteful.
