For each problem you listed, identify one solution that the Constitution provided to address the problem. Take note of the verbs here: what are you being asked to do? List/identify = enumerate without explanation.

Support this argument by explaining how one of the following illustrates the continuing tension. • Environmental policy • Gun control • Disability access Again, take note of the verbs: what is the difference between “explaining” and “listing/identifying?” Explaining involves causal relationships or patterns between two concepts/events/phenomena/etc.
Dissecting the FRQ Part III: How is it scored? This one is worth a total of 5 points. How do you earn those points? Part (a) = maximum of 3 points; 1 point for each problem/solution pair identified. NO PARTIAL CREDIT FOR ANYTHING LESS! Part (b) = maximum of 2 points; 1 point awarded for a generalization; 2 points awarded for a specific explanation of how/why/etc. that link exists.
