  1. The world of TestsStudy, Study, Study What every genius needs to know!

  2. Where to begin • Read over the notes that you have • Be sure that you can read the notes you have • Be sure the notes you have are all the notes for that chapter

  3. When????????? • Do not leave it until the morning of the test • Find a time at least two days before to begin • Study and review more than once

  4. How????????? • Pick a quiet spot where you are comfotable • Be sure to choose a spot away from distractions • Do not have a TV or Radio on • If you need background music make sure it is low enough that you really only hear it as white noise

  5. How???? • Start by reading through all of your notes • Try to explain each vocabulary term • Use the Readying Warm-up objectives as guide questions • Answer the Section review questions orally

  6. How??????? • Answer the Chapter Review orally • Have another person ask you questions about the material using your notes as a guide • Anything else that helps

  7. Why???? • Statistics on test taking tell us many things • If you are prepared you will be less anxious about taking the test • Studying in quiet is more effective than studying with distractions • Students who study do better

  8. And in conclusion • Think about this: When you study you do better, when you do better you are proud of yourself and what you have accomplished • When you do well on a test Mom and Dad are proud of what you have accomplished, believe it or not they really do love you and want you to do well

  9. Finally • Relax, do your best, care about what you do • Study, study, study
