“Growing Together” On arrival @ airport • Medication and medical forms to Mrs Harris • See Mr Manttan or Mrs Beazley for your ID card • Let Mrs B or Mr M know which group you are in to speed up the process. • Line up with your bags in the check-in line • (Miss Beckingham will be waiting at the check-in desk). • Mum’s and Dad’s to stand back and wait near security to go through to the departure lounge with their child. • You won’t be handed your boarding pass – these will be collected by Mr Manttan when everyone has arrived. • When you have checked in, proceed through security with your parent(s) • Mr C will be waiting in the lounge to direct you to our meeting place.
“Growing Together” Accommodation Accommodation: 1 night at Sydney Harbour YHA 110 Cumberland St, The Rocks NSW 2000 3 nights at Camp Cottermouth 1435 Cotter Road, ACT 2611 2 nights at Kosciuszko Motor Inn 19 Monaro Highway, Cooma NSW 2630 Linen: All bed linen & bath towels provided. Meals: 3 meals daily provided from dinner on day 1 until lunch on the last day. Transport: Air conditioned, seat belt equipped touring coach (x2) to suit group numbers.

“Growing Together” MEDICATION Administration of medication at school (short term) form This form is for medication taken regularly such as antibiotics, Ritalin etc. that are often taken up to three times per day. It is vitally important that any medication has a valid pharmacy label which includes the name of the prescribing health practitioner. A new form must be completed for each medication the child requires.
“Growing Together” MEDICATION Administration of emergency medication at school form This form is for emergency medication and should be accompanied by a students’ medical action plan. This form is used for medications such as antihistamine, epipen, asthma medication (only if your child has an asthma action plan do you need to complete this form). A new form must be completed for each medication the child requires. Asthma puffer If your child has an asthma puffer we encourage them to keep their asthma medication with them in their backpack at all times. We will also have spare puffers and spacers available for any person who presents with symptoms of asthma.

“Growing Together” Essential items • Clothing - Name everything! • Multiple warm clothes outfits- not just 1 jumper and a pair of jeans. • 2 x School Uniform Dress shirt & School Hat (good condition) for Parliament House & War Memorial. • Red School Spray Jacket – if you do not have a school spray jacket see your class teacher immediately – we can help you out! • 8 Pairs warm socks – mix of thick & light knit socks- consider the snow day • Dirty washing bag to separate clean from used • Beanie or warm headwear and scarf , sunglasses • Waterproof GLOVES • Sunglasses (for snow day in particular)
“Growing Together” Essential items • Snacks Bags • Sealed Muesli Bars /plain biscuits/dried fruit/le snack. (Make up day packs for each day in zip lock bags) • Essential Toiletries • Toothbrush & Tooth paste – small size Lip Balm / throat lozenges/Small pack of tissues. • Deodorant – No AEROSOL : ROLL ON ONLY. • Sunscreen / Zinc cream – travel size , Lip Balm / throat lozenges/Small pack of tissues.

“Growing Together” Communication Text Message Service You will receive a text message periodically with updates on camp – particularly flight updates etc. Online Blog Photos and brief stories will be added to this blog by kids as we go along. “Growing Together” Requirements –spending money • Spending Money : Total $100 made into 3 envelopes of $35, $35, $30 to be given to supervising staff at airport on departure. • Envelopes are to be clearly named and with the amount enclosed. • All 3 envelopes should be sealed in a clear plastic zip-lock bag & named as well. • Students will be able to withdraw money at a set time 3 times during the camp. This will be recorded. • Students will use their itinerary and pre planning to determine their daily expenditure requirements.
