  1. Frequently Asked Questions about Kid’s Dental Health

  2. A report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed, • 19% of adolescents aged 2 to 19 have untreated dental caries • 42% of children aged 2 to 11 have had caries in their primary teeth • All these proved, regular dentist visits and dental cleaning a #1 priority for your kid; the sooner a cavity is detected, the less damage it does to the teeth.

  3. WHAT SHOULD I USE TO CLEAN MY BABY'S TEETH? Any soft-bristled toothbrush with a small head, preferably one designed specifically for infants, should be used at least once a day at early morning or at a bedtime.

  4. WHEN SHOULD I TAKE MY CHILD TO THE DENTIST FOR THE FIRST CHECK-UP? To prevent dental problems earlier, your child should see a pediatric dentist when the first tooth appears or no later than his/her first birthday.

  5. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY CHILD HAS A TOOTHACHE? Keep the irritated area clean. Recommend ibuprofen to reduce the pain. Avoid over the counter numbing gel products as they contain high level of anesthetic and a child can easily overdose. See a dentist as soon as possible.
