  3. AIR QX/WX – AUTOMATED PORTS • STATUS NOTIFICATIONS SENT TO DESTINATION PORTS AT INBOND ARRIVAL • UPDATE RECONCILIATION SITE FROM ORIGIN PORT TO DESTINATION PORT RECONCILIATION SITE • ENTRY RELEASES ARE SENT TO DESTINATION PORT • HOLD NOTIFICATIONS ARE SENT TO THE DESTINATION PORT

  4. AIR QX/WX INBONDS – NON AUTOMATED PORTS • NO ACTION TAKEN • NO STATUS NOTIFICATIONS/ENTRY RELEASES/HOLDS ARE GENERATED/SENT WHEN INBOND IS FOR A NON AUTOMATED PORT

  5. AIR QX/WX ISSUES • THE USE OF THE INTERNATIONAL BILL OF LADING IS USED EXCLUSIVELY FOR ALL INBONDS • DOMESTIC BILLS OF LADING ARE NOT USED WITH INBONDS • MASTER INBONDS ARE THE FIRST LEG OF ALL ASSOCIATED HOUSE BILLS INBONDS • SIMPLE AND HOUSE INBONDS OPERATIONALLY ARE TREATED THE SAME

  6. QP/WP • ACS AIR WILL NOT USE THE APPLICATION DESIGNATORS QP/WP • QX/WX WILL BE USED FOR THE AIR APPLICATION IN ACS • QP/WP WILL BE USED FOR ACE AIR M2.1

  7. QX/WX BENEFITS • ESTABLISH AN INBOND • DELETE AN INBOND • ARRIVE INBOND BY BOL OR INBOND • EXPORT INBOND BY BOL OR INBOND

  8. ACS AIR QP EXCEPTION • THE AIR QP APPLICATION WILL NOT ALLOW AN AIR AMS AIRWAYBILL TO BE ESTABLISHED BY QX APPLICATION ID • THE QP APPLICATION ALLOWS A BILL OF LADING TO BE ESTABLISHED THAT IS NOT MANIFESTED (CURRENTLY ON FILE IN AMS)

  9. QX/WX FEATURES • QX20 IS MANDATORY BECAUSE THE CONVEYANCE INFORMATION IS REQUIRED TO FIND SPLIT AIR WAYBILLS • QP20 IS OPTIONAL • WX WILL NOT ALLOW FDA-BTA INFORMATION TO BE USED

  10. QX/WX FEATURES • WP WILL HANDLE ALL MODES OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FDA-BTA DATA • WX WILL NOT HANDLE THE INBOND VALIDATION OPTION THAT IS AVAILABLE IN WP (WX WILL ALLOW FOR ARRIVAL AND EXPORT BY BOL OR INBOND ONLY)

  11. QX/WX FEATURES • QX/WX IS FUNCTIONALLY SIMILAR TO QP/WP • QX/WX HAS ADDITIONAL FIELD DATA ELEMENTS THAT ARE DIFFERENT THAN QP/WP (QX/WX ADDED FIELDS INCLUDE CARRIER FLIGHT NUMBER AND SCHEDULED DATE OF ARRIVAL)
