  4. WHSAU - Vision OUR PRINCIPAL VISION To assist the research and developmental works in the field of Ecology & Environment to assist in creating awareness in the use of Natural & Traditional methods of wellness associated with Eco-friendly Organic Farming amongst the farmer's community.

ObjectiveNAIP Project assigned to WHSAU • Creating a dedicated band of master trainers • Popularization of biopesticides and pesticide free vegetables and their processed products in district Kangra • Assisting lab to farm and farm to consumer linkages. • Establishment of bio-pesticide, pesticide free vegetables and their products sale outlets in district Kangra

  6. Our ResponsibilitiesIn NAIP Project • Identification of farmers, self-help groups, Mahila mandals , Yuvak mandls for promotion in consultation with CPI and popularization of biopesticides and pesticide free vegetables in district Kangra. • Organizations of trainings on different aspects given under the trainings in coordination with lead center. • Identification of area for plantation of darek.

  7. TASK SUMMURYYear 2008 -2009 In association and in working partnership with the CSKHPKV. The Popularization of biopesticides, `clean’ vegetables and their value added products We plan to identify villages where vegetable growing is a major activity amongst the farmers. We plan to identify & train farmers in the 1st year spread over 3 training sessions as per the NAIP guide lines available to WHSAU
