Lancashire & South Cumbria Partnership session no.2 Wednesday 23rd January Jointly funded by NHS England
The overall aim of the Building Health Partnerships programme in Lancashire & South Cumbria:To look at ways to harness the leadership, power and capacity of our communities to improve their own health and wellbeing.
The purpose of this workshop today: To plan and design a ‘test, learn and review’ approach that enables us to demonstrate what a multi-sector partnership at a neighbourhood level could look like and to prove the value of this way of working.
Ideas from last time - 22nd November 2018 • Prove the value of the existing impact that the VCFS is having • Engagement with neighbourhood, ICP and ICS • Develop a common language • Identify community needs – engaging the less heard community/small VCFS organisations And to make this happen? • Choose 3 neighbourhoods • Choose a theme • Try a different way of engaging
THE CORE GROUP Neil Greaves – Communications & Engagement Lead – Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria Adrian Leather –Active Lancashire Angela Allen – Families, Health & Well Being Consortium Amanda Greenwood – Lancashire Women’s Centres Jacqui Thompson – Senior Manager Health and Wellbeing at NHS Morecambe Bay CCG Pauline Howard – Red Rose Recovery David Houston – Trinity Hospice Liz Petch – Public Health Consultant
Testing the new system arrangements • A theme: suggested so far - Adult mental health, Frailty, Social Isolation • Geographical area/neighbourhood: review the options
How do we mobilise communities and build relationships with neighbourhoods, the voluntary, community and faith sector and the statutory sector? What do we need to do differently?Co-producing the stages, activity and (desired) outcome
Capturing and sharing the learning as we go How will we do that?
