  4. We will be working in groups to prepare for a debate at the Harvard History Conference on the Weimar Republic. You will be acting as historians with different opinions on which political threat to the Weimar Republic between 1918-1923 was the greatest.

  5. You have this lesson and any extra time that you wish to spend at home to prepare for the Conference. _____________________________________ Your work must include: 1) An explanation of your event / topic. 2) Arguments to suggest why your event / topic is the most significant. 3) An analysis of why the events being argued by the opposition are not as strong as yours. _____________________________________ You may include any other information that you consider relevant. You may produce posters, role-plays, badges, leaflets or any other content to promote your cause.

  6. Blue = Team Leader. Green = Scout. Visits other groups to spy and report back. Black = Challenger. Responsible for challenging all ideas to ensure that they are strong enough to stand up to scrutiny.
