  2. Bell Ringer • Write on your own paper.

  3. Second Period • Review Trasketball

  4. Third and Fifth period • Read chapter 3. • Complete chapter 3 questions.

  5. Fourth Period • Finish chapter 3 questions. • Complete Cubing Activity • Discuss- Choose a quote from the book. Then write the quote in the center of your page. Free write around the quote. What does it make you think about? What does it mean? • Apply- What items would you would pack if you were in Elie’s situation? Think about items from today. • Analyze- Make inferences to what you think will happen in chapter 4 based on what has already happened. (Create a timeline or bulleted list.) • Associate- What emotions do you have when reading chapter 3? Why? (Write or draw pictures. Be sure to explain.) • Compare- What are the events in chapter 3 similar to? • Describe- Describe the events that have happened in chapters 1-3. You can draw a picture, complete a timeline, use magazine clippings, etc)

  6. Seventh Period • Finish chapter 3. • Answer chapter 3 questions.
