Recent Initiative by Ducks Unlimited • Ducks Unlimited Canada has met with Provincial Ministers and St. Albert Officials to discuss an Interpretive Centre • Location and composition of the Interpretive Centre are still undecided • DUC is planning a meeting for stakeholder groups in early 2007 • Purpose of this discussion is provide one of what we hope are many more opportunities for public input
Issues to Consider • Preservation and Protection of Ecologically Sensitive Areas • Public Access (potential for the greatest number of visitors) • Land Availability • Other?
