Ticketing • 317 Spar and Super Spar Outlets are active in selling tickets • Stadiums have been added as additional ticket sales points • Ticket Sales to date 46 230 • Ticket design has been approved by CAF and submitted to supplier for Production • Ticket collection date projected for December 10, 2012 • 2000 tickets per PMA have been reserved for their purchase for their travelling spectators • All CAF, VIP’s and LOC Beneficiaries will have their ticket delivered to them on the January 09, 2013 • Warwick is the partner for corporate and hospitality sales

Protocol • DIRCO will confirm if the President will invite Heads of State for opening match • Each Embassy will receive 2 VVIP and 2 VIP tickets when their team plays • Only one Embassy vehicle will be allowed in the official team convoy • 2000 spectator tickets will be reserved for sale to Participating Member Associations for each match • Accreditation will not be issued to Embassy Protocol Officers
Medical Matters • LOC will provide all team physicians a Medical handbook which will explain all medical issues including phone numbers of LOC and CAF medical Officers, hospitals and emergencies etc. • All teams should provide the Medical files for the state of health of each player. • All teams must possess an International Medical insurance for each of its players to cover any medical issues including: • treatment, investigation for sports injuries etc. • LOC & CAF will only provide first aid, but all medical interventions will be under the responsibility of the teams. • All teams are required to take anti malaria pills and any required vaccinations before their arrival to South Africa • Failure to comply with yellow fever regulations will result in refusal of entry
Medical Matters • In terms of the OAA, all Delegation Members, Participating Member Associations, Referees etc are required to have their own personal medical insurance for medical treatment in South Africa. • Whilst the LOC together with the government will endeavour to take care of all emergency matters, the final responsibility for fees in all such treatments is for the account of the individual • Each hotel will have a Medical Treatment Room, where those requiring attention will be able to receive initial treatment, where after they will be directed to the nearest hospital if the situation so warrants. • An ambulance will remain permanently on standby, equipped with a full life support system
Yellow Fever List • List of countries for which a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required forentry into South Africa.
Accommodation • CAF Headquarters will be at the SANDTON SUN HOTEL, Johannesburg • CAF will have an operational hotel in each of the Host Cities, whilst for the opening and closing matches the SANDTON SUN will be used. • Each Participating Member will be accommodated in a separate hotel as approved by CAF Administration and LOC, with distances from hotels to training sites / match venues varying from between 5 minutes to 30 minutes maximum • Room reservations for Participating Members are: • 12 Doubles (Players) • 7 Singles (Officials) • 1 Kit storage Room • 1 Medical Treatment Room • 1 Team Meeting Room, which in most cases will also serve as their dining hall for all meals • Each official hotel will be serviced by an Information desk, supported by LOC Volunteers to assist with any queries
Visa Requirements • A passport or travel document valid for no less than 30 days after the expiry of your intended visit • At least two blank pages in your passport for endorsements • Two colour passport photographs • Payment of the prescribed fee • A valid visa, if required • Sufficient funds to pay for your day-to-day expenses during your stay • A return or onward ticket • Yellow fever certificates if your journey starts or entails passing through the yellow fever belt of Africa or South America. • Statement and/or documentation confirming the purpose and duration of your visit • Undertakings by the host(s) in South Africa • Medical cover
Safety and Security • In terms of the Government Guarantees, all stakeholders involved with the Tournament have their safety guaranteed – providing they remain within the framework of the law. • Security planning commenced in May 2012 with tactical planning at an advanced stage • Embassies are requested to provide information about expected ticket demand, travel and accommodation of their nationals • Intelligence will be shared mainly through the Embassy Security Liaison Office • ALL Participating Members will receive protection services from the time of arrival in South Africa for the duration of their stay • Each official CAF or Participating Member Hotel, will have the following: • Venue Operations Centre (VOC). This is a full time operations office from which National Police will operate from within the hotel • Accommodation for the protectors that are assigned to the Participating Team and or Referee and or CAF delegate • Foot patrolling South Africa Police Services members in the precinct of the hotel
Safety and Security • Each training venue will have the following: • Between 4 and 6 private security and stewards whenever the team trains • Between 2 to 4 private security on non training days • Between 3 and 6 South African Police Services members • Communications with both CAF & LOC • All activities or proposed movements MUST be communicated through the TLO / TSLO before being actioned • Follow CAF Security regulations and advices • Obey all advices issued by CAF and or LOC Security instructions, in their best interest • Accreditation • The various state agencies, under the direction of SSA and the LOC – with the support of CAF, have finalised the online accreditation system – which is now operational. • All other CAF stakeholders will be loaded into the system prior to arrival in South Africa and will receive their accreditation upon arrival in South Africa at their respective hotels
Transport • ALL CAF delegates will be allocated the appropriate level of vehicles – with a dedicated driver - for the duration of their stay • The Referees have also been allocated the necessary vehicles – with a dedicated driver - to execute their tasks • Only one Embassy vehicle will be allowed in the team convoy • ALL Participating Members have been allocated the following vehicles – with dedicated drivers - from time of arrival in the host city, for the duration of their stay: • 1 x Luxury Coach • 1 x Luggage vehicle • 1 x Sedan for Head of Delegation
Air - Internal • For the final group stage matches in each host city, teams will be flown to the assigned host city to complete their group stage matches • Once the group stage matches are finished, teams will again be flown to the host city in which they have qualified to play • Referees will be flown from Johannesburg to their match venue on match day -1 and return on match day +1
LAND BORDERS • All land borders will also be operationalised in the same way as air borders, with specialized services to visitors arriving for the tournament • The LOC however must stress that it is of vital importance that in respect of Participating Member Associations, CAF Delegates and or Referees and or CAF Commercial Affiliates / partners – that it is kept abreast of the intention of the parties to use a particular land border – date, time and entry point

MEDICAL & HEALTH SERVICES • Each Match Venue will have the following: • Doping room and the necessary support personnel to assist the CAF Medical Doctor • A separate Players, Spectators and VVIP Medical Treatment Room, where those requiring attention will be able to receive initial treatment, where after they will be directed to the nearest hospital if the situation so warrants. Each one of these areas will have the appropriately qualified medical personnel to deal with initial emergency matters • 8 stretcher bearers for match activities on the field of play, 4 next to each team bench • Ambulances (numbers are subject to the capacity of the stadium) will remain permanently on standby, equipped with a full life support system • A specific area outside in the stadium precinct for managing disasters – in the event such occurs • Each Participating Team will have the following: • A dedicated ambulance that will remain permanently with the team (as also indicated above at their hotel), equipped with a full life support system
