  3. Lernziel: Syllabus and my expectations of you in class Put your name in your textbook and your Grammatikheft! Materials: • KommMit! 1 (Textbuch) • KommMit! 1 (Grammatikheft) • 1 or 1.5 inch 3-ring binder (you will get a lot of handouts!!) • Notebook (das Heft) • 1 Dry Erase Marker Attendance: • TARDIES: I will pay close attention to tardies (3 tardies= detention) • EXCUSED ABSENCES: STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL WORK MISSED DURING THEIR ABSENCE. Refer to my website! • MY POWERPOINTS ARE ON MY WEBSITE

  4. Lernziel: I will be able to conjugate the verb “sein” based on the subject pronoun of the sentence. Homework: • Homework will be assigned daily and can be found on the homework calendar distributed in class. It will take you between 5-15 minutes to complete an assignment. • You may receive formative points for certain HW assignments. • I will accept homework completed up until 1 week remaining in the unit for FULL CREDIT. You are responsible for showing it to me. • All Homework points will be entered into Skyward ASAP.

  6. My expectations of you:(in Syllabus) • Enjoy this class and do your best! • Respect is mandatory! • All materials must be brought to class every day. This includes the textbook, workbook, notebook, pens or pencils and a binder designated for German. This binder should include all class materials, handouts and paper.

  7. Extra Help / Hilfe I am usually available before/after school and during 3rd Period (at Central). Please come and talk to me or e-mail so we can schedule a meeting time.

  8. Copying, Cell Phones • Copying: Copying on tests, quizzes or homework will result in an automatic 0. The administration and parents will be notified. • Cell Phones / Handys: must be kept OFF once in the classroom and every cell phone I see will be confiscated and will result in a detention.
