Rebuilding Macon For all SkillsUSA members and any students interested in participating with the next Rebuilding Macon Volunteer Project, you need to see Mr. Moultrie before Friday, March 17th, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. If you want to be part of another fun and rewarding experience while helping out others, then stop by room 7 today!

  5. Baseball News Ryan M, DeVonte E, and Justin J all had multiple hits in the Canes victory over region opponent Peach County. Ryan M got the win and is now 2-0 for the season. With the victory the Canes moved into second place in the region.

  6. Basketball News Zonesha D was selected for the Senior Middle Georgia All-Star Classic Team March 17th Westside High School 5:00 pm

  7. Tennis News RHS Tennis team played against Westside. Mark C brought the solo win for the boys’ team. The Lady Canes won every match they played. Among the winners are Katelyn G, Danielle M, and Mackenzie L in singles matches; AND Camilla H, Katelyn H, Deleila J, and Kaleigh P in the doubles matches.

  8. Math Club Interested in exploring math beyond the classroom? Interested in participation in Math Competitions throughout the area? Then consider joining the Math Club! The Math Club will meet Wednesdays at 2:45 pm with Mr. Hopkins, Room 141. Sign up sheets will be available.

  9. Fine Arts News Congratulations to the RHS Advanced Women’s Choir, Men’s Chorus, Choraliers, director Mr. Charles Hernandez, and accompanist Terry Clopton for receiving straight superior ratings in both performance and in sight-reading from every judge at the 2012 Georgia Music Educators Association Large Group Performance Evaluations. A Superior rating denotes “an outstanding performance worthy of distinction of being recognized as among the very best”.

  10. Fine Arts News The RHS Symphony Bands performed at the Shamrock Invitational Concert Band Festival and the Georgia Music Educators Association District 11 Large Group Performance Evaluation. Symphony Band 2 at the Shamrock Invitational received an overall Excellent rating in performance and Superior in sight reading. Symphony Band 1 at GMEA received all superior ratings in both performance and sight reading.

  11. Academic Team Academic Team practice will be Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00 – 4:00 pm Room 106 Anyone is welcome.

  12. First Priority First Tuesday of Every Month Room 120 7:00 am

  13. Morning Start Time The National Anthem will begin at 7:30 am. Students not in class at the beginning of the National Anthem are late.
