ASSIGNMENT 1 PHOTOGRAPHY Submitted to: Mr. Tucker Done by: CordeliaBelezaire
CLOSE UP SHOT I chose this photo because it shows my true beauty; all natural without make up. This close up shot shows my big beautiful smile which I believe is a reflection of my inner soul. I think a beautiful smile can brighten anyone’s day. This photo was taken at Old Belize; the cool breeze was blowing and it was a happy moment because I was attending a wedding.
MEDIUM SHOT This was taken on the 19th September, 2011 at the round a bout to the Northern Highway. I chose this photo because it represents the mourning of our country for the lost of Rt. Hon. George Cadle Price whom we refer to as the Father of Belize’s Independence. Mr. Price is noted for his dedication to the people of Belize and his battle for us to achieve Independence on 21st September, 1981. On this sad day, I too was mourning his death and these flags flying at half mass reminded me to appreciate the works of Mr. Price because without his struggle we wouldn’t be free in Beautiful Belize.
LONG SHOT This shot was taken at 12 am bringing in the Independence. I chose this shot because the awe that fireworks represent is similar to my personality . A small little light that burst wide open into an unbelievable ray of bright sparkling colors always a surprise. I believe that everyone has fireworks potential. We all need a little light to spark our flames and once given the opportunity we can turn into something unbelievably beautiful. The dark sky represents our environment and the different color lights is all of us trying to brighten our surroundings.
