Chapter 1. The simple present tense – Be, and other verbs. -Forms of Be. ( Put not after be verb if want negative.)
Chapter 2. Present continuous tense. (Subject + Be verb + Verb+Ing. Ex: I am drinking a bottle of coke. She is eating a piece of pizza. Questions of continuous tense. (Be + subject + Verb+Ing. Ex: Is she playing computer? are they eating pizza?
The future tense. (Subject + will / be going to + Verb.) Ex: I will eat dinner. She is going to be at school. Questions of the future tense. (Will / Be + Subject + going to +verb + verb. Ex: Is she going to buy a car? Will you bring a lunch bag?
Chapter 3. The simple past tense. Basically plus ed or d to verb.(How ever some verbs has their own past verb. past Be verbs’ past do/does =did (not).
Habitual past with used to. Affirmative: I used to be at house alone. Negative: I didn’t use to eat a breakfast. Questions: Did you use to be at house?
Chapter 4. Subject and object pronouns.
Chapter 5. Singular and plural (Verb + S or Es.) Plus es when the verb finish with s, ss, sh, ch, x or z. Count and Noncount words. Usually use many to Count. Use much some a lot of to noncount.
Chapter 6. The past continuous tense. Subject + Was / Were + Verb + Ing EX: I was eating pizza. She was making cookie. Questions of past continuous tense. Was / Were + Subject + Verb + Ing.
Time clauses.(Make sentences more simply.) Ex: Before he left school, she was with him. Before leaving school, she was with him. After she arrived house, he talked with her. After arriving house, he talked with her.
Chapter 7. Infinitives. (Subject + verb + infinitive phrase.) Ex: I went to school to take my project. He played soccer to have a good time. (It + adjective + Infinitive.) Ex: it’s hard to have a grade A. I’m ready to go to school.
Modals. (Can, could, should, will, would, may, might, must.) Subject + modal + verb. Wb-word + modal + subject + verb.
Chapter 8. Present perfect. (Subject + Have / Has + Past participle). Ex: I have eaten. I have written. There have been some cans.
Present perfect continuous. (Subject + Have / Has + Been + Verb + ing) Ex: She has been studying with her friends. I have been staying for 2 hours.
