Initiatives by GAIL Finance E- Banking • 100% E-payment made to all vendors, suppliers, and employees whereby the payments are paid without any delay. • 80% of all receipts from consumers are received through E-banking and the balance receipts are also on the way to be received through E-mode within a period of 3 to 4 months. • E-Banking has resulted in effective utilization of resources of the company and has also resulted in cost savings for the company.

Initiatives by GAIL Finance Centralized Payroll Centralized Payroll started from 1st April 2004 to ensure salary related payments to all employees from Delhi office. • Results: • Employee satisfaction and for having uniformity in the system • Optimal utilization of manpower and financial resources. Reduction in Contingent Liabilities • Results: • Settlement of Rs.306 Crore customs duty demand on Pata project import materials • Settlements of Rs.138 crore excise duty demand on Lean Gas from Vijaipur
