  6. “It is really important to build on the young person’s self worth. You can find talent with any young person. They all have talents which can be built on; it is just about taking the time to get to know them and recognising success” Jayne Allan, CST Teacher

  7. The Playground I’m in the playground all alone, Feeling like I want to be home. Supervisors and children everywhere, Running around and playing without a care. I ask if I can join in the fun, But they all say no and away they run. There’s shouts and giggles and boys cheer, But no-one knows that I am near. I see some people playing hidey, I hope no-one is being snidy. I ask if I can play. What do you think they’ll say? I will be, I really don’t care, But not all the time, that’s just not fair! They only want me to be it, But everyone should have to do their bit. A fight breaks out, I cant get away, Someone tells Geri, she’s on her way. She splits us up, I hope it’s done. I try to get on with having fun. I have to get home after school, In case they wait, I am no fool. I say I have an ache in my tummy, So I can go home and be safe with my mummy.
