  2. Do Now • Hand in your outline. • Homework – Rough draft due this Friday. Utilize the next three days in the computer lab to finish research and begin typing. I’ll discuss my thoughts on your outlines with you tomorrow. • The final paper will be submitted through Turn It In

  3. Research • Questions about our projects? • Remember the key is…can you support your claim with at least three different ideas? Your claim is your thesis statement. • Reminder – We’ll be in C126 Tues, Wed., Thurs.

  4. Citations and Bibliography • Don’t steal people’s words and ideas if they are not your own. • In Text Citations Wordsworth stated that Romantic poetry was marked by a "spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings" (263). Romantic poetry is characterized by the "spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings" (Wordsworth 263).   6. tODAY • You can always get your research from news shows and documentaries. 60 minutes, CBS Today, the podcast This American Life, RadioLab are always good to check out. • Here are a few clips about some of the issues you are doing your paper on. If you are, take notes. If not…pay attention to how they present their research. Do they give the other side of the argument? Are their facts WELL SUPPORTED??
