  3. WHY B.ARCH? SDCA focuses on imparting holistic architecture education which highlights local values and real life problems. Design Studios emphasis on the technical and environmental aspects of the design and use of buildings, the material and structural development of construction, the preservation, protection and development of existing built environments and the contextual understanding of architecture and design processes and to achieve complete involvement of students design weeks and study trips are organized in every semesters. With this workshops and extra- curricular activities are also organized such as Model making workshops, computer workshops, Ceramic & Mud workshops, Construction & materials workshops and Photography workshops.

  4. ELIGIBILITY & ADMISSIONS • For admission to first year in Architecture, a candidate must have passed Intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 scheme of examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ University, with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination . • In addition to the above, the candidate needs to qualifyan Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the Council or by the competentauthority of the Central Government or the respective State Government.
