Neighbourhood profiles and performance data available Oct/ Nov 2010 Statement of service standards from all partners Sept 2010 Whole view of priorities across neighbourhoods NPB’s to gain understanding of community priorities Agree outcomes at community committee Community engagement Statement of community priorities Develop objectives and draft business plans Partners statement of strategic priorities 2011/2012 Planning cycle Tag business plans by Neighbourhood and issue Partners statement of operational priorities Quarterly monitoring of directorate business plans and Neighbourhood plans (via NPB) NPB to engage Community Committee regarding how to deliver priorities Refresh business plans – ability to cut by neighbourhood, LAA issue, etc Report Neighbourhood plans to NPBs/ Community Committees Report back to Neighbourhood Partnership Board. The priorities…. • Engagement and Involvement: • Residents want to feel listened to. • Residents would like more local information. • Public Realm: • Potholes across the area but particularly Eccles Ward. • Environmental Attractiveness • Attention to repeat locations for enviro-crime • Eccles Town Centre • Improvements in public transport from parts of Eccles and cross-city. • Improvements to local train stations.

  6. ………….continued • Continuing improvements in crime and disorder. • Community Cohesion: • Community Celebrations and wider cohesion work. • Ensuring culturally appropriate mainstream services. • Activities for young people including flexible detached provision for hotspot areas of ASB. • The development of access to mainstream youth provision for minority communities • Work and Skills: • Employment and training opportunities.
