1. Point Of View The point of which the story is told.

2. 1st Person Point OF View • First person point of view is a point of view in which an "I" or "we" serves as the narrator of a piece of fiction. • Black Beauty by Anna Sewell is written as first person - from the horse's point of view.

3. 2nd Person Point Of View • In second person point of view, the narrator tells the story to another character using "you"; the story is being told through the addressee's point of view.

4. 3rd Person Limited • Third person limited point of view is a method of storytelling in which the narrator knows only the thoughts and feelings of a single character, while other characters are presented only externally. Third person limited grants a writer more freedom than first person, but less than third person omniscient. • The Necklace is written as 3rd person limited- Madame Loisels point of view. “She dreamt of great drawing rooms upholstered in old silks.”

5. 3rd Person Omniscient • Third-person omniscient is a narrated mode in which the reader is presented the story by a narrator with an overarching, godlike perspective, seeing and knowing everything that happens within the world of the story, regardless of the presence of certain characters, including everything all of the characters are thinking and feeling. • The most dangerous game is written as 3rd person omniscient- Gods point of view. “
