Reconstruction Results with New Seed Generator. 10,000 Test Beam events were reconstructed after the first 1,000 established detector parameters. (11,395) 12,342 tracks were found in (8,735) 9,382 separate events. Every reconstructed track still had 5 or 6 valid RecHits.

  1. Reconstruction Results with New Seed Generator • 10,000 Test Beam events were reconstructed after the first 1,000 established detector parameters. (11,395) 12,342 tracks were found in (8,735) 9,382 separate events. Every reconstructed track still had 5 or 6 valid RecHits. Original seed generator took only hits in first two planes. The new seed generator takes hits from each plane to the next N planes, where N is configurable (default=3). In this case N=1, which gives identical results to N=3 on a smaller sample of events.
